Christine Timmins Barry Honored by Junior Achievement of New England

Congratulations to MWF Member, Christine Timmins Barry who was recently honored by Junior Achievement of New England with its Spirit of JA award for Individual of the Year. Ms. Barry started her journey with Junior Achievement in Cincinnati, as a classroom volunteer, and then became a board member and Board Chair in 2006. In 2014, her family moved back to her hometown of Boston, MA and she joined JAofNNE’s board. From 2018-2020, Christine served as Board Chair. Christine is the true definition of a JA champion, supporting JAofNNE’s strategy and events, serving on board committees and engaging Endurance International Group (now Newfold Digital) employees to serve as volunteers and mentors in the classroom.

Chief Justice Margaret Marshall Awarded Bolch Prize for the Rule of Law

Chief Justice Margaret H. Marshall (ret.) has been named the 2021 recipient of the Bolch Prize for the Rule of Law from the Bolch Judicial Institute of Duke Law School. The prize is awarded annually to “an individual or organization who has demonstrated extraordinary dedication to the rule of law and advancing rule of law principles around the world.” She is the third recipient of the Prize. The first was Justice Anthony Kennedy.
